8.1.5 – Discussion – Adding Hair To All Dreadlock Roots & Florida Wicks

• We get requests to thicken EVERYTHING
This can be done, however we highly discourage it and so far we’ve not done an appointment like this. If you add extra hair to your dreadlocks to thicken them up you’ll have to continue doing that for the entire time you have dreadlocks. Your roots will grow out and you’ll have to continually add hair to the roots. It can work, however, it’s one of those things where I feel like the client should just accept their dreadlocks as they are.

• This is preference
Ultimately, this is mostly a matter of preference and you can do it if you want. Most people want thick dreadlocks, I get it, I wish some of mine where thicker. But I’m certainly not going to start adding hair like that. It’s just a ton of work and doesn’t seem practical to me.

With all of that being said, the content within this course will teach you what you need to know in order to thicken up the entire length of your dreadlocks if you choose to go that route.
