• Our courses are designed for Stylists and Individuals alike
When creating these courses I wanted to be able to offer our training to Individuals and Stylists alike. I tried to separate them, but I quickly realized that the content would mostly be identical. Therefore we don’t have any distinction between courses for Stylists and Salons vs. Individuals and DIY. When taking our individual lessons within each course you can simply skip over lessons that do not apply to you as a salon or individual.
• For Individuals and DIY
Once you learn the crochet method by learning with practice hair first, you can apply the same principles to your own dreadlocks. In our Instant Locs Crochet Course we have a Root Maintenance & DIY section just for this. Our beginner classes also give you the skills to do your own sections, backcomb, and palm roll, to start your own dreadlocks (ideally with a little help from a friend). And I’ve had so many of my clients ask for help and advice on how to crochet their own dreadlocks. I could give them a few pointers, but to give them truly effective advice I would’ve had to train them for hours. With these courses I can offer a massive wealth of information instead of just a few minutes of quick advice. If you can’t find a salon that can properly Crochet your dreadlocks and you’re ready to take matters into your own hands, this is the absolute perfect training for you!
• For Stylists and Salons
The hair industry can be quite a cut-throat environment to be in. The landscape is always changing with new competition and new trends. The Instant Locs Crochet Method that we teach is still a very new technique that VERY few salons offer. And half the salons offering this method aren’t very competent with it anyways. This method is great for ALL hair textures, but it is far superior to any other method specifically for straight and curly (non-Afro) hair textures. Twisting does not work for straight hair. It doesn’t… Trust me. And Interlocking straight hair makes more of a braid. The Instant Locs Crochet Method genuinely locks the hair from day one! By learning this method from us you’ll have a huge advantage over other salons staying ahead of the curve and being able to work with all hair textures.
