• Afro Hair
Afro Hair RARELY has issues like what we’ll be describing in this course. If you will solely be working with Afro Hair there’s probably no need to take this course. With that being said, mixed race hair textures do form loops sometimes, and the content within this course will be insightful for those hair textures.
• Mixed Races – Afro / Other
With that being said, mixed race hair textures do form loops sometimes, and the content within this course will be insightful for those hair textures. I’ve worked with plenty stubborn Afro mixes including Afro / Caucasian, Afro / Hispanic, Afro / Asian, etc.. These hair textures don’t act the same as true Afro hair and often require additional time and effort.
• Caucasian & Hispanic
The loops that we’ll be discussing in this course is predominantly with Caucasian and Hispanic hair textures. The straight or curly nature of these hair textures allow for sections of hair to not be locked up. When some sections of hair lock up and other sections of hair remain straight and unlocked, that straight hair forms loops as the dreadlock tightens and matures over time.
• Asian Hair & Other Textures
I’ve seen this in Asian Hair and other hair textures as well. Basically if you don’t have pure Afro Hair this will be a scenario that could experience with your dreadlocks.
