Combining Loose Dreadlocks<\/b><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • In most cases with loose \/ young dreadlocks we can fully combine the entire length<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The less formed, the looser, and the more \u201cpoofy\u201d the better<\/span><\/li>\n
  • If you can stick your finger through your dreadlock we shouldn’t have any problems combining your dreadlocks<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]\n

    Combining Established Dreads<\/b><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Established dreadlocks rarely work when attempting to combine the entire length<\/li>\n
    • If we do combine the entire length it is the most time consuming job (well over 12 hours, sometimes 20 or 30+) and the results don’t last forever<\/span><\/li>\n
    • We\u2019ve discontinued this full length combination for established and mature dreadlocks<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]\n

      Ethnicities and Hair Types<\/b><\/h3>\n

      Combining Locs in Afro Dreads<\/b><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Afro Locs are the easiest to combine when they\u2019re in the early stages<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Though rare, in some cases we may add extra hair for a stronger hold<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Combining for Straight and Mixed Hair<\/b><\/p>\n

        • Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, Mixed, etc<\/span><\/li>\n

          Roots Only<\/b><\/h3>\n

          • If your dreadlocks are mature and established we will only combine at the root<\/span><\/li>\n
          • You can two strand twist the ends<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Or we can combine your dreadlocks at the root, and cut off one side<\/span>\n
              \n
            • Fun fact, we can use the dreadlock we cut from one side to re-attach and repair other weak dreadlocks that are often associated with these types of appointments<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]\n

              Full Length<\/b><\/h3>\n
                \n
              • Only available for loose and young dreadlocks<\/span><\/li>\n
              • This type of work is often done for appointments that are considered \u201cfull repair\u201d or \u201cjust fix everything\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n

                Crochet method<\/b><\/h3>\n

                • The Crochet Method is our primary method, we use this for over 95% of our work<\/span><\/li>\n
                • An overwhelming majority of our appointments for combining dreads are done solely with the crochet method<\/span><\/li>\n
                • In some cases, we may use a latch hook to pull one dreadlock inside of another<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/4″][vc_column_text]\n

                  Cutting Hair<\/b><\/h3>\n
                    \n
                  • *We ALWAYS ask before cutting anything!<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n
                  • The only time we would recommend cutting hair is after we combine roots only or pull one dreadlock through another<\/span><\/li>\n
                  • Sometimes we cut buldged ends of mature dreadlocks when combining with another<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/4″][vc_column_text]\n

                    Adding Hair<\/b><\/h3>\n
                      \n
                    • We may add some extra hair to help hold the dreadlocks together<\/span><\/li>\n
                    • This is rare, but most commonly used in Afro Hair<\/span><\/li>\n
